![]() Classic killstreaks, like the attack dogs, which were missing in Sledgehammer's previous WW2 shooter but first made their appearance in World at War, return as well. Gone is the Divisions system seen in Call of Duty: WW2, replaced by a more traditional perk and weapon customization system that will make players feel right at home. At least for this major release.Sledgehammer's new entry in the series is also a return to the more classic gameplay in the series. Hopefully one day Call of Duty will stop doing this kind of thing. There are many people who would love to play this amazing game, but cannot because of this unfortunate situation. This is a terrible thing to do, considering that this game costs $50! If they release the patch on day one and just let everyone download it for free, then they're wasting everyone's money. One big thing that I'm not too happy about, is the fact that the World At War patch is making this game available on day-one, which means that you won't have any ability to test it before buying it. Of course, it's also one of the few times we've seen a Call Of Duty game with a story, and it would be a shame if the game didn't tell its story with any substance. It's an innovative way to introduce a character to the game, and it looks like it's going to be incredibly popular. This makes it very possible to identify specific people in the game, allowing you to get a better idea of what you're up against. You'll hear a couple of different dialogue options, including your character's voice. This is very noticeable during the "tell-tale" moments when you're about to attack an enemy. On the positive side of things, the Call Of Duty: World at War patch brings us the chance to actually talk to characters in the game. I've spoken to a few people who feel this is an acceptable amount of trouble, and these people are usually the ones that have been having problems. Some players have complained about the fact that it's incredibly easy to get the objectives incorrect and need to start all over again from the beginning. One of these includes the "flashbacks" that allow you to go back to previous levels in case you were having trouble reaching the objective on your current mission. The World At War update included a new level, the Ruins of Normandy, along with several other additions as well. ![]() ![]() The Call Of Duty: World at War patch is now available to all players on the PC and Xbox. ![]()
